Histroical Fiction (By the shores of silver lake)

Laura Ingalls Wilder was an author and she wrote all the series of "Little House" books, Which tell about her and her life as a little girl in the late 1800s. Laura was born in February 7, 1867, in Pepin, Wisconsin. She was the second child out of the whole 4. Her mother was Caroline Lake Quiner and her father was Charles Philip Ingalls. Her sisters were, Mary, Carrie, and Grace. She also had a younger brother who's name was Charles, Jr, (his nickname was Freddie), Who died at the age of nine months. The family moved from place to place over the years, first they left Wisconsin for Walnut Grove, Minnesota. Two years later they moved again to, Burr Oak, Iowa, Then they moved back to Walnut Grove. In 1897 they went to Dakota Territory. They finally settled in De Smet, South Dakota. I like the way she writes her books because then a llt of peope get to know about her life. I think this was a really good book.

I chose this video because I think its a good way to show parents how to encourage there kids to do better.
